My Daughter Tamanna, only 13 drew this, she loves art

And Amar'e wants to wish everyone a merry Christmas...

The drawing is excellent, mad skillz.

Merry Xmas to Amar'e (and family).

Agreed - very good!

I had another proud Mum moment this week - to go with the two poems she's already had published, Hannah found out this week that she is one of the winners in a short-story competition that was run by the local council for all the primary schools in the borough. Her story will be published in a book that will go to all the local schools and libraries, and she'll also receive a prize of a kindle.

As her very proud dad said to me after she told us - 'she's amazing' Smiley

Thanks - i'm more proud I suppose that she has a talent that she thorougly enjoys using and, if she works hard and gets the right breaks, could well end up making a career out of it. I don't have a creative bone in my body so she's not got it from me, but I play my part through the things I can do - lots of love, praise and encouragement Smiley

Not actually seen the story myself yet, but may post when I have.

Does not seem long since I posted on blonde about having a kid after years of trying!

Emily is 5 today and she was in a school thingy this morning talking about lent.  She did so well, even her little sis was impressed.
