Masterchef is great, that looked a lot closer than I thought it would be.

It was a given Shelina was going to win. I was however really impressed by Tom's first two dishes, his dessert was ok. What is it with people trying to put strawberries with meat, this is about the fourth time I have seen it tried and it has failed on every occassion. Anybody with any taste buds would know that strawberries and meat do not go together.

I find this one of the weirdest programmes on telly. Not the cooking competition part - that is what it is. It's the two weird presenters. There is a Harry Hill lookalike and a guy off a DIY programme who looks like he hasn't had a bath or washed his hair for a week and who sweats his way through the show, hardly surprising when he is wearing street clothes in a kitchen. I used to find it tolerable when Loyd Grossman did it, but now I just can't take it seriously.

That Harry Hill lookalike is the star of the show imo. Was far too snobby when Grossman presented it, great t.v programme.

I watched Big Brother in Australia and that was pretty gruesome; much worse than the UK version.

Reverse Kangas were a major feature of that series. It is on YouTube but, if you don't know what they are, you are better off that way.

Just found this. Since the boys started school in September I have found myself addicted to Australian Masterchef. It's on Sky 109 at 1pm and also at 7pm but I am always busy with the kids in the evening

Booooom!

Just seen it's on tonight. Unmissable. One-way Uni Chal Facebook type-off with Nirvana followed by Frog and Roo IR. Doesn't get any better.

I fking luv Masterchef.

nothing better than nipping downstairs on a 5 min break, returning with a bowl of microwave foods (just blasted, not stirred half way through, served by upending ala no presentation, eaten with likely just a fork), sit down and whack on some Masterchef. Watch them try and better my meal.

I'm always dissapointed by how good the celebrity versions are, deffo not enough disasters for my liking.
