Has anybody asked him if he'll actually do this yet?
Although everybody means well I really don't think it's fair putting all this pressure on him if he doesn't actually want to do it.
As soon as Tikay comes on and says he's up for it put me down for anything up to 3%. Until then I'll just wait and see what happens.
I for one would like to apologise for putting all this pressure on Tikay. Must be a nightmare.
Btw asking for a big 3% has put pressure on me to up my lowly 1%. Could you possibly reduce to 1% bud? only I'm finding it hard to cope with the pressure.

I know you're being sarcastic but that's understandable because you're a bit of a tool.
If you look closely I said 'up to' 3%
I don't want to invest any more than that but if it goes ahead I believe it would be more of a community thing therefore I would reduce my investment to give more people a chance to buy in.
Hope that clears things up and relieves the pressure I've piled on you.

Good morning all.
Yikes, what to say.
Been a bit busy out here, I eventually sort of collapsed into bed @ 8pm last night after 3 x 21 hour days, being 21 hours of total fun, even though its work/play combined. This morning, up at 4am, ZING, bright as a button.
I read this thread all the time, it's F5 city. I don't know what to say really, I am so embarrassed & humbled, but I'll address it all today, I hope.
It sort of helps if I share something with you.
I wrote to Tom last night. I noticed he had barely Posted for 4 days - 3 Posts in 4 days I think, & his Diary had slipped off Page 1. He replied to me in his usual style, & everything is fine & dandy with him, which was all that really mattered to me.
I won't divulge his reply in it's entirety, but it included something like this.....
"To be honest, the Staking thing has not helped, I'm incredibly touched & flattered, but I don't know how to respond"......
And so, once again, Tom finds a way to say what I think.
It is really hard to explain how Tom & I feel about these things. We are old, we have pride, we are stubborn, & we inhabit a Forum full of people who are very different to us. Not better, not worse, different.
Anyways, I'll get into the technical bits shortly, bear with me please.
It goes without saying, I think, that if Tom & I did it together, it would not be twice as much fun, it would be 100 times as much fun.

Just a joke bruv.
I'm sure if Tikay isn't interested in playing he'll say thx for the gesture but too busy. When he does I will make a sarcastic joke and would like to apologise in advance for that.

Umm, addressing a couple of matters that have been mentioned several times.
What "rate" would it be done at? Seems to me it could ony be "par". Any premium would be outrageous.
How much is "available" to sell? Personally, it would not bother me if I had none of myself, the thrill of playing it would be more than enough. Maybe hold a few % back, I have no strong feeling on that really. It's not about money, not at all. Hard to explain......
Next door? I'll need to explain to you why I have a certain stance towards them, I'll try & do that later. In short though, if I asked, they would let me do pretty much anything I want.

80 people put in $250 for 1% of each and both are playing for 20%.
Perfect!

Not wanting to renege on The 5 % I promised but obviously happy to free up % s for other people
How about 100 x people doing 1% Tony + 1% Tom ($200 per person sounds manageable)
It would be great to get them both there
Didnt see Keiths post above.....similar thoughts ...something like this seems good & looks workable.
