It feels like almost every tournament this year that the draw has opened up for Joe Cullen. He’s yet to take advantage of one yet. He has a dream run to the QF’s here. Dolan, King/Dekker, Alcinas/VDP/Long. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Was talking about Cullen to my mate earlier.

He was extremely unlucky vs Anderson at the Match-Play and finally looked at home on the stage. Nobody is talking about him and he like you said he has the absolute dream draw.

Cullen has blown some big chances this year, the Euros he'll still be kicking himself over, wont be dream draw every time need to book something. You get 50 bags for making a 1/4 final here and really he needs to put that on the board.

Ian White another one who never capitalises on this type of spot, his draw is a fair bit tougher but he should think it winnable. Steve West/Gerwyn Price/one of the aforementioned 1/4 finalists then a likely semi vs Mensur/Smith/Cross.  This is to make a world final after all, I think the biggest concern is long formats and set play, just doen't seem to work for him/

Don't fancy Gerwyn Price, just don't think set play suits his game.

Please retire now Barney and leave us with the great memories.  Don't do the farewall tour.  You are not going to get into many events to do the tour.  Just do the PL for the farewell tour and hang them up.

Been a relatively slow start so far but for me yesterday it came alive.

Josh Payne played fantastically well for two sets but then dropped a gear and let Chizzy in for a great comeback. Then Peter Wright looked massively underprepared for Toni Alcinas and deservedly got beat.

Not seen much of Luke Humphries or Labanauskas but was impressed with both. Labanauskas looks exactly the type of player who could give Barney some problems later tonight.

Fourth quarter wide open even more now. You have to be loving life if you are Gerwyn Price! Surely we can't get a Price Anderson final?

Lovely. Fetch my wheelbarrow.

Cullen oh dear (so far anyway)

Let playing Dolan get to him see pre match interview rather than focusing on having the easiest draw possible he will ever get in any tv tournament

Mensur plays Ryan Searle ( who is local to me .....not important but makes it an interest ) Ryan won first round match with ease, a lot is about his first dart, can get some big scores going. has won tourney recently and played Mensur only once before (lost5-6) is 4/1 a decent enough price ? if you are gonna get upsets, and there has been a few already its more likely early stages where shorter match.. prob get hammered.....thoughts

Pretty much sums up his year. Gets gifted golden opportunities and hasn’t take any of them. A lack of minerals.

Massive opportunity for the guys left in the bottom half of that draw to scoop 50 bags for a QF spot. Whoever gets through from the top half of Q4 will be loving their QF opponent.

Cullen gonna Cullen.

He doesn't want it enough if you ask me. Lacks the mental strength to ever be a top player.

Definitely worth a chirp, David, hope she continues to do well.

"Roz Bulmer has made excellent headway in her first full season on the BDO tour.

Roz has been a notable player for Norfolk County Darts for some time, but this season saw her form part of ‘Norfolk on Tour’ as she and many of her fellow county players embarked on tackling the BDO circuit.

Roz made quick progress, reaching the semi-finals of the World Dart Trophy as well as the Denmark Open. Coupled with several quarter-final placings, Roz broke into the top 14 of the world rankings, ensuring herself a place at Lakeside!

These accomplishments are especially inspiring following the challenges Roz has had to face, and is still facing, over the last few years following two separate cancer diagnoses".
