added Module for the jewson £75 e/w at 20/1. On its run beating colour squadron i just thought this race was right up its street. Think its a great value bet, i cant see it running in the arkle but i can really see it improving with the step up at cheltenham.

moving on from yesterdays sadness. Had ew bets on Super duty for the RSA @ 25/1 and China rock e/w for the ryanair at 20/1
Super duty - Yes it could run in the jewson. I think this horse has the look of a very progressive horse and i think 3m and change on good ground will be best for it at the festival. It got pipped at wetherby by improving Goulanes but unlike the winner it has form on good ground, finishing 2nd, albeit 15l behind simonsig over hurdles at aintree in april. The fav Dynaste has looked ultra impressive but the stats are against him, last 13 winners of the feltham to contest this race have been beaten. Yes dynaste was rated much higher over hurdles and is rater a load higher over fences but dynaste has disappointed on ground described as good and this may be a leveller providing we get good spring ground and further imprivement.
China rock. This horse seems to have been around years and has run at the last 4 festivals. Last year it was simply outclassed/outstayed in the gold cup over 3m2. But since then it was not disgraced 24l 4th behind sizing europe over 2m (needs 2m5+) before beating follow the plan and quel esprit int he punchestown gold cup. Last race it ran 5th in that crazy lexus behind tidal bay, first lieutenant, flemenstar and sir des champs. The horse's festival form is good, it doesnt seem ground dependant and has run some real corkers in its time Hopefully none of the horses that beat it in the lexus appear in the Ryanair but there is a chance flemenstar will, which will be a kick in the balls. However the race could cut up and providing connections dont go for the gold cup route again, i can see this one going off at 7/1 ish on the day.
