That is Cheltenham week and friday is Gold Cup day.
Bad timing for one or two racing enthusiast's and bookies.
With so many day 1's you can work round it though, either online qualification before Cheltenham or live on the Saturday in the club. thats if you have recovered from cheltenham.

Hi Brookie,
We are not doing re-entry on the same day, only into following Day 1's. We have also improved the structure - giving players 20,000 chips and the WSOP main event structure, so its very unlikely many players will bust early. We also want to keep the Grand Prix affordable for as many players as possible, we did £100 last time, this event is designed to give everyone with £50 an equal chance each day.
Cheers Rob

It just keeps getting better. But how are you going to get this finished in two days Rob?

for sure - but with a 15k starting stack last time we were at level 28 when Day 3 started and it was around seven hours after that when it ended. With 20k it must take longer, especially if they get 2000+ runners, which they really should

Advertised on the DTD website as 30/45 which is what it was last time I think. May have been 30/40 though.
Will wait to see the official reply but wouldn't be surprised to see 20+ levels Day One. The UKIPT played 12 x 1hr Day One, which is equive to 24 x 30 mins, but that started at noon.

hey easy now his Royal Tightness is about as close to being official as it gets. If he does not know the official answer its generally because no decision has been made

David,
Changes from last Grand Prix are;
Day 1's 2pm start day 1's instead of 5pm (+ 3 hours saving)
Day 2 - 1pm start instead of 2pm (+ 1 hour saving)
Day 2- 30 minute clock with 45 mins on final (+1 hour saving)
It will finish in 2 days, the finish time will depend on the players that make the final table. Look at yesterdays Deepstack for example. playing styles at final table often dictate the finish time. I think for £50 we should not be asking players to spend 2 nights in hotels, maybe for £100 it can be a 3 day event, but at £50, think we have it about right here.
Cheers Rob
