Quick query regarding Golden Chips
The rule at the last GP was they had to be on display, I think it became an issue the closer we got to the final table, but they were supposed to be visible throughout.
With 5 online Day1s is this possible? Or will it just be the rule for Day 2, or are we going back to the way it was for previous tourneys where it was at the player's discretion?
Oh, and are they exactly the same design as last years?

Hi David
Yes we will ask players to have them on display, more so on Day 2. As you say we can't do this for online so to make it fair we'll only police this on Day 2.
If you wish to have it on show then that's great
Yes same design as last time....we got a lucky batch for you David, why change
Cheers Nicola

Was thinking of playing an online Day1 but daughter wants to play her Day 1 live so will be there on Saturday regardless.
Are you updating Richard? I was hoping for my lucky updater to be in the role again.

had budgeted £120 for the event and bought directly into the two live day 1s.
got nagged by a poker buddy about golden chips.
unregistered from the saturday day 1 to play golden chip satellites.
£40 down and now remember how much I hate £2 bingo chip thrower rebuy sats.
will have a couple more shots with remaining £20, but should have stuck with direct buy in

Will you be listing the qualifiers, real names that is, and chip counts, from the online Day Ones each day as they happen?

Hi David
As with the Deepstack online Day 1, we will post the chip stacks that make it through without names.
Cheers Nicola

Hi Nicola
I'm puzzled by this. Can someone please explain why this is how it was on this month's DS and why it is to be this way again? For the record, the February DS online qualifiers were fully identified.
thanks

So I assume you do not need to attend day 2 if your stack is small and the winnings will just be paid into your online account?
Cheers
