CORRECTION!

55 bogeys, 13 doubles, & 1 "other".

Wow I'm loving the buy at 180, can only get harder. Lets funk for a big tie at 70 players Smiley

Good luck today, Flushy.  156 so far, you need 181 I assume.

http://espn.go.com/golf/stats/hole

Doubles are 3pts and others are 5 Smiley we are printing all day long

Wow, you'll win more on that than in the entire WSOP.

Still think the course is unfair Phil?

He will be endlessly reminded of his somewhat churlish remarks after day one, though to be fair, he apologised fully and publically a day later.

Really pleased he has won, he is a worthy champion and, for the most part, a great Ambassador for the game.

Did he apologise fully?

I saw an interview on BBC where he said it was wrong of him not to praise the lot of good things the R&A does and has done with the course. Seemed to me a politician's way of not apologising for the remarks he made.

The sport is arguably better for having characters and comments like his and Poulter's are broadly beneficial for the marketing of the game. We all love seeing a good hissy fit.

He shot a score that didn't seem possible today and that's what history will remember. Quite right, too.

I agree with you Tal, best get that out of the way before the footie starts again.

Mickelson scathingly said in that interview after the first round that "a third of the greens had died" and I was a little disappointed that he never admitted subsequently that he was quite mistaken in his assumption unless that third made a Lazarusesque comeback.

The truth of the matter was that the R+A undertood the nature of the greens at Muirfield far better than he did.

Having said that I'm a big Mickelson fan for so many reasons and am delighted to see him win, well as much as I can be delighted for anyone who in the end cost me money.

If an amateur places in a pro golf tournament does a caddie still get the % of the prize money he would as if he was on the bag of a pro?

Bit harsh.

If an amateur wins the Open, caddy miss out on 100 lumps
