Really wanted to buy the distances at Wolver today, no spread accounts useable and cant find any fixed odds firms quotes
So have had a smaller bet on over 16.5 lengths at nearly 2/1 on betfair
Plenty of evidence out there that Tapeta means bigger winning distances lets hope that stays the way with this different grade.
Why would that be then John? Is there worse kickback? Cant see any other reason why that would be the case otherwise.

No there is generally less kickback if anything. Neither can i but two excellent writers on American racing have garnered the same opinion, their view seems to be that the times are very similar to Polytrack but the finishing distances are much more spread.
Personally if this an edge i will be looking to exploit it now before others realise it, if its a red herring then i do a few quid. There is also some evidence that the bigger field spread is more apparent early whilst the track is bedded in.
It should be noted that Tapeta can be "formed" to ride faster or slower much easier than Polytrack so it will be interesting to see if he has been round after the first with his tractor.

Yes the two main hopes but 10 lengths already is a good start...
Just means i have to listen to Simon "all weather expert" Mupletoft all afternoon. Interviews the jockey after the first having won 6 lengths "What did you think of the surface?"
No shit Simon he liked it

16:00 Ayr -
Karaka Jack
Had this one in my tracker for a while, but only started backing it again the last few times, and think Adz thought its time was near LTO.
Feedback from the wiser souls most welcome.
Definitely not laying claim to the wiser soul bit, but Dark Crystal is starting to look a massive price @ 25-1 for a C@D winner that goes on the ground, been on the drift all day - does this just mean others who are better informed know its not her day today?
Although I thought it quite marginal I bet Blue Sonic @ 9/2 in the 3.15 - which I now notice has also started to drift lol.. SORRY 3.30 AYR

Must have too many horses in my tracker, and should really clear it out...
15:15 Wol -
Free Entry
Looking likely to be fave when they open, and obviously the new surface too, so will probably just chuck it in a tiny treble with the other 2.
Looks like it's going to be one of those, who struggles to get its nose in front.
