Idiot question - I opened a WH account today and laid 4 bets including Fount (4 winners - account will probably be closed by now - ho ho) what and when and how many times can you use the boost button.
Thanks

Slight problem giving tips on horses that I know have a more than good chance – today was quite freaky –
I am only involved in three syndicates and because there are only a small number in each group I do not mind chucking it out to the thread (ex Brushed Up).
With the others like today the horses belong to individual owners who I know and they would not be happy if they found out their confidence had been misplaced. That said if they have already got their coins on and they are okay with me putting the odd one out I will.
Like earlier this pm I got home and a mate had text me that he fancied a good run from his horse 10 mins before the race – just got on it ew came 2nd.
God Bless the internet

No problem with not sharing information, as that's entirely understandable. Much the same as it's prob a good idea to not share 'I had 4 bets today, they all won, what a touch'. I just count the cash, and enjoy my free takeaways

True - but it was more the fact that I only opened the account today and was been whimsical we the fact that they would close it by tonight.

Dare say if you have backed 4 winning short priced favourites on a Saturday, unless you have gone nuts with your bet sizing, then your account should be fine for now with most bookies.

Added Mitchouka to the portfolio after finding some 70 for the Triumph which was a little surprising after today's run - still a little there if you're quick.

Just thought I would put a big shout out of thanks to the contributors of this thread, I had really lost my enthusiasm for laying bets now since reading this thread and opening the online account I am back to my old Pitbull self.
And how many things you can bet on is wonderful – not allowed to say after my previous telling off – but in my own little way I caused some carnage bets at the races and on the football today– inplay what a great invention –
Now please note I am not the brightest button on the block but there is a button that says something like “cash your bet out now” while the game is still going on what happens if I hit it does it pay me out the full bet – I am a bit wimpy at the moment so just letting the bets roll.
Anyway thanks all.

Cash out pays you the equity of your bet, less 10%. You bet £10 @ 90/1. It's now 1/9 in running, so you have a 90% chance of winning £100. You will be offered: 90% of £100 = £90 Less 10% = £81. Basically...never hit that button.

You basically pay a premium and get the worst of it by cashing out otherwise those crafty bookie chaps wouldn't be offering it. Far better off hedging by betting the other side (ie laying against your bet) on an exchange if you must.

Just backed bapaume 33/1 nrnb for the stayers hurdle at the festival Would only advise nrnb for this one as I'm not sure he'll go here rather than Punchestown but quite interesting. Was first run at 3m last time travelling very strongly Until just run out of it last furlong by apples jade and supersundee. The front two were Up with the pace throughout and Bap was held up and maybe they kicked and he couldn't cope On this ground. Might improve for better ground looking at form and looks a big price if it lines up. Risky proposition as not really proved stamina yet but if lines up can be sure willie thinks he stays Otherwise a nice race over 2m4 will be on the cards elsewhere.

44.72/1 boosted nrnb with hills for those that can.
