Sea the Moon just beaten comfortable, and now back out to 10/1 for the Arc.
Is Taghrooda worth a few quid at
on the back of that?

It's strange how things go full circle sometimes.
Last year we couldnt get on Treve quick enough for this year, and I suspect that come October we will be glad we did and that she has had such a short season. She may have been beat LTO, but if she was injured when she was last time, that was hell of an effort.
Im happy enough having just her on side at the moment mate.

Think the front four or five all have question marks/chinks in them especially at current prices
Will be trying to find something at silly odds next few days methinks

I'm really hoping Treve does it, so that Boyles have to pay me one more time on a dead account!
Back to fave now on the back of that, so hopefully she'll be back to 100% come the day, and we all get weighed in!

Will try and tot up my running points P&L later, (won't be pretty)
For today:
Ginzan
Brighton 14:30 2pts win 100/30
Fieldsman
Brighton 15:00 2pts win 6/4
Whitby Jet
Brighton 16:00 2pts e/w 8/1 Thought there were quite a lot of positives for this, may prefer softer ground but has several placed efforts on gd to firm. Has won over today's distance and at this course. Seems a consistent type. Like jockey booking, his course record is 1 win and 3 places out of 5 rides. 8 runners and seems unlikely any will drop out because of going. slightly put off by weakness in market.

Hector Crouch maintains his excellent strike rate at Brighton, sadly it's aboard Birdie Queen in the first. Whitby Jet decides today's the day to show no interest in racing.
You might have thought that having taken the trouble to look up his record at Brighton I might have paid closer attention to his other rides there today, unfortunately I didn't or I might easily have found a winner there. Seems like a possible angle for the future.
There's been a tiny bit of support for Tax Reform which he rides in the last, but seems like pure guesswork as to whether it might bounce back to form. I'll leave it, which means it will obviously dot up.

Uh Oh! , Time for a reckoning up and a couple of sob stories...
Since I've been recording points bet (4th Sept) I've had 4 out of 4 losing days, 23 bets, 52 pts bet in total, a total loss of 23pts for a ROI of -44% - so not the best start then..
There was one decent winner in Berlusca which was my smallest each way bet. Kings Bayonet and Chant both came 4th by a neck and a short head at 22/1 and 14/1 respectively, and would have produced a swing of +11.75 pts if they had both placed.
I have at least learned that it will make life simpler if I make a point of tallying the points at the end of each day, rather than having to go back over it.

4.20 Leics 2pts e/w Pastoral Player 5/1
1pt e/w Take A Note 7/1
According to stats the low draw is a big advantage here and these two are stall 3 & 1. Think PP maybe running back into form despite being dropped another couple of pounds for his last run on ground which was probably softer than ideal.
