I quite like the idea of Wishfull Thinking running a big race in the King George.
It's really not that far away on official ratings, only 7lbs below top-rated Silviniaco Conti, and is in the form of it's life this season since it had a wind operation in the summer. I know it's eleven years old but so was Edredon Bleu who had a similar profile.
I think 25/1 with 1/4 odds 1-2-3 is tempting enough.
Honestly couldn't have him Ralph.
The one time he tried 3m at Aintree(an easy 3m) he got put in his place by Unioniste, who wouldnt see which way this lot went. The ratings may be similar, but I couldnt mention him in the same breath as Edradon Bleu....Sacre Bleu!
Whilst he has improved for the wind op, he has his highest rating at 11. If he places in this, we have a very poor bunch of 3m chasers at the top table.
Watch him scoot up and do the Gold Cup double! GL

It had a pretty strong novice season, so can see the logic. Never had any time for Edredon Bleu, thought he was a bad winner. I was always a Best Mate knocker too.
It is kind of dirty, but Irving 11/2 each way with Hills for the Christmas hurdle is interesting. I know Faugheen is a beast, but this track suits Irving better than him and until Cheltenham last year, Irving was very much thought of as top rank.
Also got Cue Card each way for the king george, which shouldn't be a surprise.
Will probably save on Wishful thinking and got the other two mentioned TfT in gold cup doubles. Got half the field now.

Just realised Neil had put up tips for the King George. 5 vs the field then. Way biggest on Cue Card tho.

I backed Dynaste and Captain Chris, a while back, and have done the punty doubles.

Everyone now trying to be Tom Segal and find double figure value even among exposed horses: some firms 7/2 Silviniaco which is a great price, surely?

Got it in a few multiples, but bit short for my shallow pockets to be punting in singles

Tough task for Three Kingdoms coming up at Kempton.
But if he's as good as I hope I think he'll be competitive.

Sighs.
Easy to be an armchair jockey, but when you are trying to beat a dodger, why not delay your effort as long as possible to give Vibrato Valtat every chance to idle?
As soon as we went by VV, the grey picked up again.
Touched 1.14 in running :-(

They must think he's an Arkle horse.
He will have fucked his handicap mark with today's effort.

Difference in Jockeys.
Touchy is mixing it at the top every day. Hughes gets about 3 chances a year so can't be as calm as he would probably like.
