When O'Leary & Mullins sit down to negotiate, that's some tough gig, neither likes to be pushed around.

Entirely possible it is brinkmanship by The Great Man, who did exactly the same with with Boeing when he was negotiating to purchase options on a fleet of 737-800's & ended up getting his way.

Notable that both parties were gracious to each other in their statements. "Gracious" does not come easy to either, except when it suits their own ends.

Perhaps Mullins should have negotiated very low fees but extra payments for making race entries online or extra nosebags for his horses

Now now, no need for that, let's shows the respect due to The Great Man & the world's most profitable airline, you may well need his services to follow Leicester City around Europe.

Michael O'Leary walks in to a bar in Dublin and orders a pint of Guinness. "That'll be 2 Euro's" says the barman. "That seems very reasonable" says Michael. "Now" says the barman..........."Will you be wanting a glass with that?"

I don't think it's unreasonable for Willie to increase his fees for the first time in ten years, although he didn't state how much they had increased.

All valid comments.

Can't believe the increase can be that much if no one else has complained.

Was at Kelso racecourse at the weekend.  Fab little course and I would recommend a visit.  Go to the members enclosure and you can climb to the top of the stand for a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside.

I'm just looking forward to seeing lots of chasing, and hurdling.

After Pipe has won the Cesarewitch, obv.

The full line up for the new Racing Programme on ITV.

http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/2/10620732/itv-racing-line-up-frankie-dettori-and-victoria-pendleton-to-join-ed-chamberlin

Great to see Chapman replace Tanya as betting person.

Oli Bell fronting the morning line type show is a solid choice and Harvey and Weaver are always fun(I know, some here won't like that )

Hoilles replacing Holt is the best bit of business.

Not so good to see Alice Plunkett, Fitz and Rishi still lurking.*

*Just my opinion

Sad to see no place for Jim McGrath.  Hope he chose to go.
