Looks like a good deal for all parties.

He's not the best passer for a CM but will run all day, break lines and score goals. He's a good player who was exceptional in the season before last but he is prone to dips in form and struggled with injuries last season. He's also a clever lad (he studied for a law degree whilst playing for Dundee Utd then us) who won't give you bother. Also has one of the best songs in British football  Smiley

Good luck to him.

Pirating buggers, that was us at half time in the concourse at Sunderland - I can hear the maniac using the bin as a drum Cheesy

Although fair play to Southampton when questioned they did pay £100 to the Celtic Charity Foundation for song rights Cheesy

Bit out of leftfield this one, but could be a great move for him. Very talented kid, just unfortunate that he'd be in direct competition with Ederson and there's only 1 winner in that battle.

Be surprised if we don't have either a buy back clause or sell on clause.

What a fall from grace for Fraser Forster, 3rd choice keeper now and we are doing everything to get him off the books as he is one of the top earners.

Not sure what went on there. If you were moulding a goalie from clay, you would create Fraser. He has all the right attributes but something mentally must have gone wrong. I hope he moves on and does well elsewhere.

Impressed with Saints getting things sorted early. Attacking central midfielder, winger, centre back, back up goalie all sorted. Potentially a striker to come but expect that is pretty much business done.

I have never really doubted the quality of the squad, just got to get it right tactically...

Loved angus's dad just a pity he hasn't followed him down into the scotland camp. Think Fraser got in a muddle with all the changes around him week in week out different defenders and he never got it back.

Southhampton have such a high player turnover... can’t be good for team cohesion. Any ideas why that is? Is it just money / profit oriented?
