This is my favourite part of the election! I've got minuscule amounts of money on Conservatives at 300+ and I am looking good, at present.

More interesting to me, did anyone foresee Lib Dems crumbling so dramatically? Didn't see this coming at all. Their failing could be important when it comes to coalition talks, although the Tories might have just managed to sweep up enough contested constituencies that it isn't as significant as it might have been.

Didn't see too many people stopping yday having a pop at me.  Nice to see the majority of the country have the same views as me still.  Thought it was called banter.  I take plenty of shit so i don't mind giving a bit back when it suits.

Sorry. I think I did.

Lost a bit of respect for you with this comment.

Hence why i said 'too many' rather than none.  I appreciated your comment yesterday.

A twenty year old lady has just beaten Danny Alexader in Paisley, quite remarkable.

Really impressed with her, when she gave her acceptance speech. Seems to be a star in the making.

BBC swingometer broken in Scotland - only goes to 30%

Also the BBC rolling headlines writer didn't seem too happy with Paisley & Renfrewshire South going to SNP....

Dirty campaign fought against her too - bringing up tweets made while she was 17/18 and trying to play sectarianism card because she had some anti-Celtic tweets.

Pretty sad day when the leader of the Monster Raving Loony party only manages to get 72 votes against Boris.

Britain is utterly divided.

The UKIP vote is horrifying.

Its interesting where the votes are coming from.

You'd assume that a large UKIP vote would hit the Conservatives the hardest, but in the swings it looks like they are coming from Labour and the Lib Dems.

Fascinating.

Just seen this on another forum:

The result from Lincoln:
Karl McCartney, Conservative, 19,976
Lucy Rigby, Labour, 18,533
Nick Smith, UKIP, 5,721
Ross Pepper, Lib Dem, 1,992
Elaine Smith, TUSC, 344
Helen Powell, Lincolnshire Independent, 286

Rigby was 2/5 to win a few days ago

Anyone that voted Labour or Liberal in 2010 and UKIP in 2015 is a complete moron.

It also seems that the major Lib Dem seat losses have ended up going to the Conservatives.

You'd assume that Lib Dem would go to Labour.

Very strange stuff.

The Liberal Party was generally more like the Conservatives rather than Labour, it's the Social Democrats who came from the Labour side.

The Liberal Democrats often seem more like Labour because most of their activists seem to come from the Social Democrats; but I think a lot of their support came from the Liberal side. If that is the case then it isn't that strange that they'd switch to blue rather than red.
