Tories win Nuneaton by 5000 - that was supposed to be the first marginal of the night.

tory majority still 2/1.  The smartly dressed, well informed high roller in glasgow knew in his ladbrokes shop last week.  Shame he has never heard of betfair.

And for UKIP it seems.

Grim night for the North of England.

Incredible scenes.

I actually think that this could be it for the union now.

Yes, it's interesting to see what happens next though. Voters have short memories, I wouldn't be surprised if their support bounces back even if they stay in government.

Nicola S smile wasn't quite as bright as it has been recently as she entered that hall knowing her campaign has been so successful it might have cost her the chance to gain any power in Westminister.

George Galloway has apparently been reported to the police by Bradford Council's returning officer for tweeting an exit poll too early.

Quite unbelievable. Honestly think we are seeing the start of the inevitable break up of the United Kingdom. The timing of the general election so close to the referendum has contributed to this as well as a general reaction to the Westmister/ London elite of both parties. Tory Toffs and Champagne Socialists both deserve what has happened tonight. Hopefully this election will start to see proper electoral reform as the country needs an end to Punch and Judy politics.
Really enjoyed reading this thread and have purposely kept my head down.  A twenty year old lady has just beaten Danny Alexader in Paisley, quite remarkable.
