Very sad news, thoughts are with his family and all his friends, what a great legacy he leaves behind. Will be truly missed from the poker world and can be truly called a hero for all his achievements in life.

Wherever you have gone Dave I hope you give them as much entertainment as you gave us. Sleep well Devilfish. X x x

Enjoyed so many great nights out with him and he will be missed. This was one guy who could  genuinely be called a poker legend. xx

A true legend that inspired a lot of people to play poker from the late night poker era, I was defiantly one of them drawn in by his charisma. He gave us a lot of entertainment that will always be remembered from the early shows of late night poker to the filthy nines of Phil hellmuth on premier league poker.
