If Carillon collapses it will shake the foundations of the outsourcing state - at a time public services and spending are already under pressure

Shadenfreude always feels weird but this is exactly what we need. Short term suffering but ultimately fix the system that is designed primarily to funnel money to very rich private individuals.

Esther McVey was appointed DWP secretary last week (despite a "harsh" voting record on social issues)

John McDonnell is quoted afterwards as saying he would "lynch the bastard"

Barry Gardiner this morning on SP says "he wouldn't go that far" but thats as far as he will go when pressed

McDonnell's comment. way too far or all's fair in politics?

Waste of time even saying it, it’s all mouth. Either only say things you will actually do or you’re just the equiv of a internet warrior who can’t back it up in real life.

It is from 2014 and from the mail.  Even if you didn't know it was from the mail, the whole style of the piece suggests that you should take anything within it with a large pinch of salt.

I assume the, very much, alleged lynching remarks aren't new either, and date from around that time?

McDonnell is the one member of Corbyn's team who I really can't stand, and from what I've seen/heard, if he wasn't part of it, Corbyn would be PM now.
