I'm certain you're right.

Just been reading about the Privy Council. I had the impression that there were about two dozen members. FFS, there are over 650 of them. That's as many as there are MPs. There is only one still in place who was appointed by the last king.

Yup, but if they were giving Cameron a jab or two I doubt Labour supporters would care really...

I presume you are aware of Cameron's very close relationship with NewsCorp?

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/dec/21/rupert-murdoch-david-cameron-christmas-party

I'd say he's pretty safe but if he was ever to become the victim of a relentless campaign of hate and lies then I'd want him to be afforded the appropriate protection. If the left wing of our press ever follow the scum on the right of our press in to the gutter, I will disapprove just as vehemently.

Course I'm aware just as Tony Blair and other prime ministers did.

Not convinced people who support the left would oppose Cameron getting trashed to be honest, think many would delight in it actually.

My fave thread by a mile.

My first post in the election thread was a very cynical "has anyone actually changed their mind on anything here or are we all just confirming our own biases" type of post.

Then ironically, this thread has been the catalyst for the biggest political awakening I've ever had. I've learned so much as a result.

Most important lesson of all for me - political diversity is incredibly important. Don't jump to the conclusion that if someone votes UKIP they are a bigot, if they vote conservative they are greedy or if they support Corbyn they are a yoghurt weaving lefty.

Second most important lesson - when you debate, debate the ideas and explain why you disagree with others, don't attack the source or dismiss them without explanation.

Merry Crimbo ya'll

Cognitive looks wrong in that context. I think I should have said cognisant.

We don't have a government worthy of mention,, DC despicable C has ruined a country, relentlessly cutting public services. Hr destroyed our country, look at the floods.
