Thanks Tighty. Going to be an fascinating few weeks. Turned into a real fight when a few weeks ago it looked like remain would comfortably prevail.

I still think remain will probably just limp home.

Osborne predicts £30bn hole in public finance if UK votes to leave EU

Chancellor delivers stark warning of £15bn tax rises, increase in fuel and alcohol duties and £15bn cuts to health, education and defence if Britain leaves the EU

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/jun/14/osborne-predicts-30bn-hole-in-public-finance-if-uk-votes-to-leave-eu?CMP=twt_a-politics_b-gdnukpolitics

Pretty much sums up the bag of bag of bollocks hat has been the entire campaign. Utter scare tactics with figures plucked out of the air.

Remain have dug themselves a huge hole. Their strategy from the start has been Project Fear, concentrating on the bad things that would happen if we leave, rather than telling us all about the positive aspects of EU membership.

The problem is that none of these arguments have stuck. It's too late to switch so their only way forward is to keep ramping up the doom and gloom in the hope something sticks. But if it doesn't it only turns more people against them.

I agree, feels like the establishment bullying the public and treating us like idiots.

Will only have themselves to blame if it blows up in their faces.

Reading those last few articles its just genuine despair for me at this point. I'm going to be at Glastonbury when the result comes out, its gunna be one hell of a downer on that crowd if Leave win.

What is the appetite like north of the border in the event of Brexit? How likely is another indy referendum?

Glastonbury has a pretty wide demographic, can't see it being that much of an influence on the atmosphere. Besides, it's like living in a bubble once you arrive.

LOL, it has come to this. Geldof and Farage screaming at each other from boats while fishermen scream that a dinghy belongs to Goldman sachs and MPs watch on from the shore instead of attending PMQs

it is truly "the thick of it" brought to real life

Other than maybe a few people working at burger vans and maybe a sound engineer, think this will be a 99.99% remain crowd.

Maybe the referendum was scheduled during Glasto on purpose.

Have you been to Glastonbury?
It's not all 18-30 you know. Average age of punters is nearer to 40.

I know, I meant in voting terms, different ages, but pretty much all remainers.
