I love how Brexiters link this one result to everything that's good about the world and politics.

The two are only linked by timing

Aren't remainers doing exactly the same? Anything bad that happens at the moment has the phrase 'since Brexit' dropped in there somewhere.

Do you think the £ dropping and the FTSE 250 losing billions in value has nothing to do with Brexit?

Short termism though, natural downswing, things will improve.  Let's think long term.

KEY BIT: On 28 July 2002 Blair wrote note to Bush: "I'll be with you, whatever."

I'll be there for you, when the rain starts to pour.

Chilcot - 'Evidence points to the conclusion that it was Tony Blair who made the decision to let Harry Kane take corners'

Difficult to see how this could have been worse for Blair.

His knob could fall off.

Gotta conflate these things baby so people like you with blind faith may squeeze their eyes open ever so slightly

Voted in but was undecided up until last minute. From a neutral perspective a lot of boring rhetoric coming from Brexit when most have no idea what they've voted for and what will happen.

Terrible when you jump on a bandwagon because its winning, then it starts losing, but you know this as a Man united fan.

Just my experience of what's gone on. Those saying that this vote is a shake up and a message to Westminister are pretty naive.

You're the funniest non Brexiter I've ever come across. Clearly voted out but denies it completely lol

And cmon Jose! Get us back in Euorpe!

I also think if you did an enquiry on most wars there would be a question of legality and legitimacy. War is often used as a political tool by those wielding it. Sad but true.

Thatcher wins Falklands and called an early election I believe. Clinton sent troops out just before his second election.

TBH Im disappointed by remain supporters. I see people who in their daily work/ lives must constantly meet adversity but on this one where the problem is partly going to be affected by the way people behave, they seem to be giving up and crying.

Ive also seen people just talk outright nonsense, granted millions want to be in europe for trade but noone can have an affection for the actual EU as is. Then you have clowns saying they feel european, so who did you support at the euros? Everyone? We have people who dont live in this country telling us they are disappointed for the UK, but in reality they are only concerned about their own right to stay where they are.

What remain are really saying is we played safe and you made us gamble! Well get a hand you tools.

I've encountered some remain people who have been pretty silly about the result. Majority voted to leave so we should. And it should be triggered sooner rather than later.

However what I object to is the whole "we are better off" out cos of loose links to current events or just dialogue without any evidence. Truth is no one knows either way at the moment.

Does seem in some sense like the start of something huge either way tho

Totally agree we should honour the result.

People saying we are better off are no different from people quoting short term financial markets based on speculation, the same speculators who never thought remain would lose? Everybody is jumping on anything to fit their argument, thats just politics, truth is noone really knows, if they did they probably wouldnt tell us and just make a packet on it either way?

Would like to think considering we are leaving anyway we could get some ideas to give us an advantage people down the road might see as a future idea that worked out? Or do we just want to sit around until we get to say told you so?
