Charlotte Church thinks Corbyn can't win, and it's all the fault of the media

http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/uk/2016/12/charlotte-church-we-underestimated-how-angry-white-men-are

Didn't Church blame the Syrian war on climate change last year?

If she did, she was probably right.

you think climate change is one of the key causes?

It is discussed in the article I posted.  Answer is probably not.  But it wasn't completely unreasonable for her to believe that given it was claimed by a fair few people at the time.

More importantly.  Does Brendan Cox support extremism?  An extremist claimed this earlier on LBC.

Was that Farage?  What was his logic?

He was saying that "hope not hate", that Brendan Cox supports, has links to extremists.  UKIP later claimed that it is linked to people who have been violent vs UKIP people.

It seems a bit tenuous, or you could claim any big organisation was extremist.  UKIP would be very easy I expect.  I did Jeremy Corbyn in less than a second.

Farage in clumsy outburst isn't much of a story though, next they'll be accusing Donald Trump of similar.

I've been thinking about this all year, I have no idea how he can do it justice. He could do a whole show on Brexit, two shows on Trump and one on all the celebrity deaths.

Chuck in all the terrorist attacks and 40 other things I've forgot, how do you even start cutting all that material?

so there is going to be a really fun by-election

Jamie Reed Labour MP for Copeland is going to work for Sellafield

this is a 3 way by-election

last election:

where is it?

it is the next door constituency to tim farron, lots of LD activists in the area, which adds another layer of fun

note.

numbercrunch politics estimate that the constituency voted 59.8% leave in the referendum
cons need a 3.3% swing to win it
Last time a gov gained in a by-election was Mitcham & Morden in 1982.
Last time without special circumstances was Brighouse and Spen in 1960

a tough one to call, but Labour will be full on to retain it against the pincer movement of con/ukip leavers and LD remainers

Is it back off to the races for the PLP revolt if they end up leaking votes to everyone else in the race?
