last night's YouGov (on normalmethodology) shows Labour surge continuing, with support at three-year high.

Could Theresa May blow this?

in her closing statement Rudd urged voters to vote Tory "in the quiet of the polling booth" a shout out to shy Tories.

haven't heard much about them this campaign. Reflects Tory polling analysis maybe?

anyway the audience last night was very vocal on one part (corbynista, green, left) and very quiet on the other (kipper, conservative).perhaps thats the same phenomenon taking place?

Chaotic BBC debate fails to move the dial

their take was

a) Amber Rudd took the most incoming, but held her ground pretty well. Her standing in the party will have been boosted
b) Corbyn not as good as he was on Monday & not helped by Caroline Lucas making his case but in a more compelling way

one interesting comment yesterday was

"Élections pivot between Labour public spending and Tory parsimony. Is GE2017 a change or stick election?"

the FT endorses the tories

"the arrival of Corbyn and his hard-left supporters in mainstream politics has coincided with a revival of anti-Semitism and misogyny"

"The safer bet of a Conservative vote. Choosing Theresa May does not mean a blank cheque on Brexit"

Was the perception JC did bad last night in the debates? He was 5-1 when they started and he is 7-1 now.

Yes, that phrase jumped out at me as well - it's a dog whistle calling to the shy Tories - 'you can vote for Voldemort and no one will ever know'

Don't think so - Labour seem to have come in another half a point in the Most Seats market. I think the general opinion is that the debate last night didn't change a whole lot - not much would really have stuck in people's minds.

Some of the Labour people I follow on Twitter were warning against complacency and the need to get the support out to vote next week, this morning.

The thought that would have been in the forefront of Labour supporters minds just a month ago would've been comical.

Amazing how this campaign has gone, win or lose.

Michael Crick to May: "Is the reason you're doing so badly because whenever people ask you about policies all they get are platitudes?"

ouch.
