Yo, incred scenes! So these are the super beings, the experts, who should decide the destiny of Britain instead of the stupid base level people? Seems like a good plan! Also anybody saying they were misled during any campaign or try to use the liar liar bums on fire defence strategy against a vote outcome can't live on planet earth. It's just a fat gloopy mess of head fuck, always has been always will be.

"people in this country have had enough of experts."

Intersting that you blame "the experts" for this mess and not the people who agreed with you.  If only these  so called "experts" had warned us that a vote to leave would lead to chaos eh?

As an aside, this made me spit my coffee out this morning

What's this nonsense I keep seeing about Corbyn being a "nice man with a kind heart who just isn't leader material"

He's actually a nasty piece of shit is what he is. With some seriously fucked up views.

Hopefully ths will all resolve itself by the time I am back from Vegas. Ciao.

What I find most peculiar in all of this is the drama queening about the 'chaos'. I mean we are about to enter into a negotiation which will be damn tricky to navigate successfully. The more we ramp up the weakness of our position the more we sabotage ourselves. It's like sitting at a poker table and when it's folded round to us on the button we announce "I don't have a hand and I'm shit at poker" before proceeding to raise. Can't work out the expertness behind that strategy.

If this isn't chaos, I am not sure what qualifies.

Chaos isn't my strategy, it is the predictable result of yours.  There was nothing expert about it.  It was just over optimistic fantasy land stuff.

I am sure it will settle in a few months, as I have said many times before.

People who voted leave keep getting fingers pointed at them but it's all working out ok? Nothing has actually happened bar the politician class they despise is tearing itself apart and proving people right, they don't care about the people just their own agendas.

Oh no so rich people just got clipped on their shares. House prices might go down, damn real people might actually start buying them. Bankers might lose jobs, oh no not them.

Yea I'm sure it will settle in a few months too. Hence why I don't get the drama queening over a temporary situation. What is it doing for us? We can look back and analyse a result which isn't going to change, sure, but I'm more concerned about what we're doing now because we can certainly change that. It strikes me that people are deliberately hamming up the drama to sabotage the country. Whatever we think about Leave voters motivation I think it was to make the country better, however deluded that might have been.

The rich people's shares seem to be doing just fine. FTSE at 6,504. Up another 144 points. The 250 up 268 points.

Markets must be worried.

This. Am I missing something, why is Gove considered a contender, barely anyone knew him a month ago and he doesn't seem like a natural leader. Theresa May looks strong IMO, but god knows what could happen between now and then, I ain't ruling out dragons.

Who didn't know him?  He is the former Education Minister.  Hardly a small post in the cabinet!

The final two should be may v leadsom.leadsom the last remaining value in the outrights. Gove is a Tory ed Miliband. Bright and wonky but shouldn't be put up in a general election

Gove alot more well known than May, granted mainly for the wrong reason. Gove doesnt give a shit about screwing over everyone involved so looks like the perfect person to negotiate with europe lol. Can we rule out sexism and people not wanting another woman or a woman in general, especially one who seems to fancy herself a fair bit, for no reason. Gove always seems to have done well in the tory party for positions so he must have some clout/ support. If murdoch is backing gove who knows whats about to come out of her closet, plus she hasnt faced much scrutiny yet, as she sat on the sidelines for brexit.
