The only problem with this argument is the fact that numerous detailed doomsday warnings were given before the vote by Osborne, Carney and the remain campaign. They were regular headline news.

So the public did have the warnings about dire short term consequences and still voted for it.

Yah chortle. Can somebody provide a list of General Elections where the correct facts were presented. Even then we would see that people are principled and illogical and Brexiteers are stupid. So facts help how? It's still going to be an emotional vote and this time the way EU leaders have rolled, same result. Remain sound more like Tyson Fury every day, you know cos Remain is actually the Lineal result here.

Anyways, if we do have another Referendum I hope correct facts and guarantees about the future of the union are presented. Would be a bad decision to vote Remain and go down with a sinking ship, economic suicide mate.

Then again if Leave is factually going to be a "human disaster", well that sounds pretty bad too. Maybe Africa will release a charity Christmas single for us.
