Quite so. Actually, as I'm sure you are aware, I'm pleased to get any feedback at all. Mere, let me put decorum and convention aside for a moment and admit publicly that I love you. Your second ever post sealed the deal for me. I love self depreciation, perhaps that's because I'm personally so bad at it. (One there for the purists) Thankyou. It's not even a great picture of me  (Actually there are no great pictures of me). I read all your stuff but it's usually so far above my head that I find it difficult to make a serious contribution. I wish I knew more about you though. For instance, have you always been so organised? Wow, thank you Tom. That's very flattering. The feeling is mutual. You obviously have a very good memory; I have no recollection of that post. With regard to my being organised, anyone that I have ever worked with would laugh out loud if they read that. Successive bosses have tried (and failed) to improve my organisational and time-keeping skills. I fear that the strain of the fruitless challenge has sent some to an early retirement. Apologies for the delay in replying; I was having a problem trying to find my laptop.  |

Yes, I've seen it done several times. In theory, it shouldn't be allowed since the challenge should be in a "timely manner" but that is rarely enforced. I've often seen players have a discussion with their coach before challenging. Harrumph. |
