No good this week. Particularly galling as we wrote up Thomas and replaced him with Berger due to the price. I guess the bookies knew. Onwards and upwards this week though with two chances to win - the HSBC Champions and Sanderson Farms Championship. One good thing to come out of this tournament was this from John Peterson: https://twitter.com/johnpetersonlsu/status/660730294446653440

A couple of frustrating near misses last week with Kizzire leading going into the final round, and Grace blowing a great opportunity with a bad round three. Onwards and upwards this week though at the OHL Classic. After all the first time winners, we're turning to some old hands to buck the trend. http://fairwaywedge.com/2015/11/10/ohl-classic/

Unlucky this week, definitely thought Kizzire was gonna bring it home!

I thought the same, finished his back 9 so strongly on the Monday morning. Be nice to get one of these 3rd round leaders home!

Good shout on Kizzire, but wasn't Castro leading by 4?

Castro led by 4 after 36 holes but shot 3 over in the third round to fall behind. To be honest, the tournament was a bit of a nightmare due to the weather. We backed Wilcox and he withdrew as he couldn't be bothered to wait around for the rain to stop. Hardly the most professional of moves. Seemed like Streelman mailed it in after the rain break too.

Third round leaders have been poor at closing out this year on the PGA

That is true, I think its two of six this far this season and those two were co leaders at 54 holes. No outright leader has sealed the deal. Nice to see G-Mac pick up a win yesterday, nicer if we'd backed him mind.
In terms of the DP World Tour Championships, I've backed Stenson, Poulter and Olesen. Yet to throw up a shock winner - queue 400/1 outsider pinging in!
RSM Classic preview to follow today once prices are up.

Thanks! Strange tournament as Charl played some truly awful golf over the weekend but never looked like being headed. Nice to get one over the line pre Christmas regardless and what an incredible record he has at Leopard Creek. Hopefully get a couple more through this week and end this part of the season in profit.
We've got a few bits and pieces in the pipeline for the new year so watch this space...
