it looks all wrong aesthetically but he has got it all (almost all). good defensively, a threat up top and not just from setpeices and he strides out of defence like some modern day Beckenbauer with a great range of passing

Yeah basically this. Vardy suits playing against a 'top 6' side, all that space to exploit in behind. I'm not sure that makes him a big game player? Surely you want him scoring vs the likes of Stoke/WBA/Everton/Watford etc just as much as against the league leading teams? Whereas someone like Lukaku, you'd want him netting against your direct rivals, which he is unable to do.

Don't think there is any need to call people ''idiots'' though. I don't like Vardy for obvious reasons but I think he's making the absolute most of his somewhat limited ability so fair play to him. Some people might think he's crap, more people might think he's God. Having a potentially unpopular football opinion doesn't make someone an idiot.

I wish Stoke had a 50 in 100 striker who added nothing else at all and had zero all round contribution! haha  Leicester really looking good the last few weeks.  Must be happy Tighty with the manager change?  He really seems to be have you playing to your strengths again.  You look good things to me to finish 7th which will be a great achievement given the manager upheavel over the past year or so.

Pretty frustrating that Stoke haven't got to the level Leicester have in the development of their strategy.  Stoke just seem to be drifting aimlessly whilst clubs we should be competing with seem to be moving forwards at a greater rate of knots taking the short term variance of results and the league table out of the discussion.

I like stats and I also I hugely rate  Vardy as a player. Liking him, especially when he is playing against us, is another matter.
