When Trump has gone, will decisions like these be reversible?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42573579
Just a personal view, but I don't see that one being reversed. The US is desperate to reduce its dependence on foreign oil, and is on course to become the world's leading crude oil producer this year. Whatever about side-effects, it will be beneficial to the US economy. On the general question, any policy can be reversed, though the effects may not be reversible. As you are suggesting, though, once they are in place, they are more likely to continue than not.
I think the question's underlying assumption is interesting, ie that Trump is a one-off and we just need to get through the next few years, and then things will return to normal. I'm not sure that's necessarily how it will be. It could be that Donald has broken the mould.

Well I'm glad he's put us straight. I was beginning to think he was an egotistical imbecile.

....Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star.....

A spokesman claimed today that there has been a significant decrease in illegal immigration from Mexico.
How do they know that and could it actually mean having caught fewer in the act trying there has actually been an increase in sucessful illegal immigration?
Maybe they aren't as keen as they were - I'm confused.
They don't know, these things are a matter for statisticans interpreting incomplete figures, I'm sure it can be explained either way.
But I believe immigration from Mexico has been stagnant/declining for a while now. It's migrants/refugees from further south in Central America these days afaik

I'm not really sure how to phrase this question but do you think that the majority of people who are capable of making an informed, rational decision would agree that Trump is unstable and unfit to be the leader of the free world?

Yes they would. I would reckon he's most popular in America and Britain. I really think less than 10% approval rating worldwide.

If you go to Oddschecker, they have a whole array of markets as to President Trump.
Here's a typical one;
https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/us-politics/when-will-donald-trump-be-replaced-as-president-replaced-by-an-%E2%80%98acting-president-will-count
To save you clicking that, the prices are;
2020 or later - 7/10
2019 - 3/1
2018 - 11/4
I won't be having a bet, but if I were, I think 11/4 2018 would be my bet.
It's just inconceivable that this man can survive another year, surely?

It's the process/mechanism by which he leaves though. The mid-terms might well be catastrophic for the Republican Party, he still wouldn't actually leave until 2019 at the earliest and even then it's unlikely. There just isn't a way I can see that he goes this year, outside of the outlier events.

I feel I get a little dumber everytime I respomd to his tweets; but it is astonishing how he responds to someone saying he acts like a child by calling him a loser; responds to doubts about his sanity by acting unhinged; and the "I am a genius" tweet seems beyond those too.
It is only the 7th, and he has already published a whole raft of offensive and scary tweets that really should be challenged.
I think he wins though, because faced with this daily, I just shrug and say what is new, and move on.

25th amendment isn't an "outlier event". "Ill health" is the best way for the GOP to remove him.
It is very likely that Mueller is going to lay charges against Trump's inner circle and probably conclude that Trump tried to obstruct justice. His reaction to that or what he does to pre-empt that will seal his fate.
You can get 4.4 on betfair for 2018.
