I’ve been to many shithole countries, I mostly enjoyed them for what they were but they were still shitholes. I don’t see what the big deal is

1.01 landed Grin

I'm just praying for 1.5 before June, and not WWIII.

Cheesy

I usually fall to the left, as that's my weakest side, and the leg that gives out most, lol.

Trump's mega-rant about how he is the smartest and best at everything, as WSJ tries to ask him about Bannon, must be read to be believed.

Just amazing!

Netflix signed Letterman up to do a new show, and his first guest was President Obama.

Talk about night and day...

Has he made even a single comment on the missile false-alarm in Hawaii yet?

Wall Street Journal reports that Jared Kushner was warned by US counter-intelligence to exercise caution in his and Ivanka's friendship with Wendi Deng, as she might be working for China.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/15/jared-kushner-warned-by-us-about-ties-to-ruperts-ex-wendi-deng-murdoch.html

WSJ is owned by NewsCorp, so it's possible that Rupert's fingerprints are on this. He has been putting it about that she is a Chinese spy. The relationships between the Trumps, Murdochs, Blairs, etc are a bit complicated.

Now it's John Kelly in the firing line. He stepped out of line on Wednesday, when he said on the Hill, and again on Fox News, that Trump's position on the Wall during the campaign was "uninformed" and that his thinking on it had "evolved" as President, giving himself credit for changing Trump's mind on the need for a coast-to-coast solid concrete structure.

Trump slapped him down with an unambiguous early-morning tweet “The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved from the first day I conceived of it. Parts will be, of necessity, see through and it was never intended to be built in areas where there is natural protection such as mountains, wastelands or tough rivers or water.”

There are reports that Trump was fuming, though he praised Kelly in public later yesterday. Kelly's job is still seen as safe, as Trump is pleased overall with his performance. I don't know, though, of a public disagreement ever occurring before between a President and his Chief of Staff. With so many issues in progress, this is a distraction entirely of their own making.
