I prefer it. Happy to pay less than average to watch the team beat a weaker side.

Yeah I think categorising is fine, was surprised to see Liverpool doing away with it next season.

They'll probs only be Cat C at Eastlands next year Wink

It's amazing that people are mostly noisy, passionate, feel like they belong, are proud of a city and fall in love when that patch of grass belongs to Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City now they are good, Chelsea now they are rich etc.

It's all very well complaining about traditional football values (looking after the support, the club is nothing without it's fans etc., it's not like other businesses because fans can't switch clubs and so on) but the other half of traditional football values is that you support your local team no matter how rubbish. How many Liverpool fans are keeping up their end of the bargain?

If people want to propose £20 tickets and come up with a system where only true fans can buy tickets (you either need to live in a Liverpool postcode or be a blood relative of a previous Liverpool season ticket holder something like that) then fair enough.

To be fair Liverpool have been completely mediocre for 25 years and Man City used to get large attendances even in what is now League 1!  Then we have Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds etc.

Clubs like first-time visitors, "tourists", as spend £££ in stadium shop. Hence some clubs' disregard of away fans.

Everyone can see and hear decline in atmosphere at many grounds. Get more away fans in, more noise, broadcasters happier. #TwentysPlenty
