Eddie Years aka as Geoffrey Hughes lost his 2 year fight with cancer

Didn't he die a few years ago?

My mate tagged me in some link about him dying last night, and my response was  'You're about 4 years too late, Onslow'

Thank goodness we're done with 2016 - not so many celebrity deaths from now on.

Hard to believe - Mary Tyler Moore. She was always so full of life.

I watched a few episodes of The MTM Show on YT last year and was surprised at how well the content and production quality stood up, especially when you consider how badly some other programmes have aged in a shorter period. It was totally watchable now - if it wasn't for the computers and phones, it would have been hard to tell that it wasn't a current show.

"Buffin lost his child-like dreams
And Mick lost his guitar
And Verden grew a line or two
And Overend's just a rock'n'roll star..."

Joost Van Der Westhuizen aged 45

A genuinely brilliant scrum half, one of the greats from any era

Struck down with MND post retirement and battled for years before dying today.

RIP
