R.I.P. Dave Myers, one half of the Hairy Bikers aged 66 from cancer.

The Hairy's and Two Fat Ladies were two of my favourite tv chefs from back in the day and reruns of their programmes on the Food Network amongst other chefs kept me occupied when I was in an isolation room for a couple of months in 2022.

R.I.P Dave

R.I.P The enigmatic Iris Apfel, 102 years young.

The colourful interior designer, entrepreneur and style icon became a model at the age of 97 after being around the fashion industry amongst the accessories and fabrics of life that she knew so well for over 50 years..

Songwriter Eric Carmen passed away in his sleep at the weekend aged 74.

He wrote one of my favourite songs of all time Overnight Sensation with the wonderful Raspberries.
Here he is playing it live in all it's glory.

R.I.P. Eric.

Many a time I used his name as the name of my pub quiz team.
All by myself, one of my favourite songs

Oh, that's sad. This track is one of those that instantly transports us back to a wonderful era for music, & when our life was still ahead of us.
