and you had to eat an abnormally large amount of one foodstuff and nothing else over a single day to survive to see the next one?

which single food would it be?

Sausage Rolls

How much are we talking about?  Until you're stuffed or miles more than that?   Sausage rolls either way.

Perhaps something like lettuce would be prudent.

an amount beyond which it would be comfortable, but you have to keep eating.

I was thinking lettuce - to avoid any long term health implications.

Sausages - a variety of flavours - if I didn't think so sensibly (either buffalo or venison if they all had to be the same flavour Smiley )

Tried to eat 48 packets of Pickled Onion Monster Munch in 120 minutes once, mouth started bleeding on pack 31, buckled on pack 34.

So would have to go for something with a fairly neutral PH, lessons learnt and all that - Porridge with honey or Roast Chicken.

I experience this every time I have an xl bacon double cheeseburger from burger king. Have to pause halfway through to count the years of my life I've just shaved off by eating it.

If I can have about 8 pints beforehand I can't imagine a situation where I'd stop wanting to eat Greggs Cornish pasties.

Wait what are we trying to do here? Just survive the following day, or survive as long as possible?

If it's one day, I'd probably just go with something I really enjoy like pizza.

If it's as long as possible I'd probably pick some sort of boring smoothie that has everything I need or some shit.
