I have not posted here much but thought I would start a Brit appreciation thread. This is for any Vegas events not just WSOP.

Feel free to comment/correct or even blow raspberries!

Today we have Day 2 of the $10k PLO

The following bagged up after Day 1

Armin Ghojehvand 204,800
Toby Lewis           133,400
Richard Gryko       115,800
Christopher Flint    112,900
James Park           105,800
Peter Costa            72,000
Fraser MacIntyre     66,300
Mathew Perry          58,100
Stuart Rutter           57,200
Barny Boatman        38,000

I have left off one or two who are listed as Brits but seem to be just listed as UK resident.

Stuart Rutter cashed in his first event yesterday and jumped straight into this event and bagged again,
Barney Boatman is having a good series as far as cashes are going without making any FT's (yet).

There have already been earlier Brit successes starting with Ben Heath winning the $50k NLHE High Roller #5, winning $1.48m in the process.

In #10 Benny Glaser FT'd the $1500 DC finishing in 6th.

In #16 Richard Hasnip FT'd the $1500 NLHE 6 Max for $90k for a 5th place finish.

in #17 Brandon Sheils, Florian Duta, Jonathan Proudfoot & Yiannis Liperis all won their 1st table in the $1500 NLHE Shootout but were unable to make it to the final table.

in #23 Philip Long finished 4th in the $1500 Eight Game for just under $50k.

In #30, $1000 PLO, Sam Razavi came 3rd for $104k. Sam has 4 cashes so far this series.

Does Sam Trickett still go to these things these days, or has he made so much he can’t be arsed?

Sold his house in Mansfield and moved to Ibiza if you read his twitter page.  Probably realised James Bord is long gone and the glory days are over after marrying his page 3 barbie doll.  WP sir.

Does he still play poker or not? Or just decided to sit and live on what he made? Don’t blame him if he did, I’d probably do the same and be risk averse to keep a good lifestyle.....

I haven't seen him mentioned in any chipcounts/updates so far (& I have scrolled through most of them). Don't recall seeing any mention of him on the UK circuit either.

#51 $2500 Mixed Hi/Lo

After starting the unofficial final table with a decent chip lead, Philip Long eventually finished in 6th place for $31k.

This was Philip's second FT of the series.

He still rocks up in the big cash games that Party stream, and I assume he is coming to Vegas when the Party Millions is on.  Guess he has no desire to be over here for the whole series, and not sure he ever did.   He seems to have a pretty expensive lifestyle, so don't think he has gone all risk averse either.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots
