Eventually the slip ups come, with 3 of the group formerly known as the flash 4 dropping points on question 7. The one player amongst them who didn't was none other than defending champion Rubbish2407 who now stands proud at the top of the table on maximum points and is rumoured to be touching odds on at Hatbrokes.

Those single dropped points by the likes of KarmaDope have tightened the top end of the table up somewhat with TightEnd joining them on 13pts and Tal and HutchGF only one point back. Karabiner is an eyecatcher on 11pts.

Ironside, who continued to talk a good game, took a nasty drop in the table with a zero pointer and is now only 1pt above the bottom 6, a zone he is more than familiar with. stribling is another notable who is now looking over his shoulder after 3 incorrect answers in a row.

The bottom 6 has finally changed its form with arbboy delighted to escape that group and propel himself up the table with Alverton slipping in to the bottom 6. It took nirvana 7 questions but he finally got his 2pts and that has left ForthThistle propping up the table. With a 2pt gap to the next player Forth really needs to find some points after 3 zero pointers in a row.

Rubbish2407 proves he is human after all with a zero pointer on question 8 and that allowed 3 players to leap above him in the table with degston77, KarmaDope and TightEnd holding a 1pt lead over the defending champion. Rubbish's wrong answer has allowed the table to tighten up at the top with only 1pt separating 7 players at this stage with HutchGF surely asking himself what he has to do to break in to that elusive top 6.

Behind that top 7 players there is a two point gap to a group of 6 players all on 11 and 12 points with S-1 champion Archer leading that group. Pokerpops is having a very solid campaign and can definitely claim to have top 6 claims. Karabiner took a hit after being hyped up after the previous question.

In the bottom 6, nirvana's form ended after one question and that allowed ForthThistle to answer correctly and move in to a tie with nirvana and bergeroo. celtic and 4KSuited are a further point ahead but are struggling to get going and those 5 names will do well to escape the bottom zone on current form.

In a clear demonstration of how things can change in MCQ, Rubbish2407 has went from clear leader to 9th in the space of 2 questions. He has no one to blame but himself after failing to answer Q9 and the defending champion is now 3pts off the lead with 11 questions to go. The top 3 answered correctly and maintain their 1pt lead over the rest. "The rest" includes HutchGF who makes an appearance in the top 6 for the first time with Rubbish2407 dropping out.

Sitting on the same points as Rubbish2407 and only 1pt from the top 6 are Archer and Pokerpops. Archer was amongst the pre-season favourites but Pokerpops is surprising everyone with his Season 3 performance. Karabiner, jakally and Dacorb continue to be the kings of the midtable positioning, with Ironside joining them.

In the bottom 6, it looks like ForthThistle is looking to replicate his Season 2 surge and now has two correct answers in a row. This has left nirvana and bergeroo at the bottom of the table with bergeroo notably answering "Scotland" for Q9. The bottom 6 now sit 2pts from safety, can any of the players find a way out?
