*******RED-DOG is OUT********

He raises to 4000 with 88 playing a 12000 stack, fella named Adrian re raises all in behind with 99 and Ian Woodley then gets involved from the BB with QQ. RED-DOG considers himself pot committed which i agree is the correct call with only 8000 behind..

Flop comes AQ6 and Ian Woodley does a double take out and is sitting pretty with 80k

There was a bit of an floor-man calling argument over what one is and isn't allowed to say about one's hand.  Tony Chessa and John Kabbaj were maintaining that revealing the actual two cards in your holding wasn't kosher, but I think it was Tim Flanders who insisted on the ruling that as long as your cards aren't shown you can talk til the cows come home...

I always thought you could name cards no probs, but if you actually name your own cards your hand was dead

I know - I am always surprised by what a grey area the chat rules are... varying from country to country, card room to card room.  In the States, I think it's OK to say what you like, and the idea of the 'moody rule' in effect a few places here is openly marvelled at.

The point that was being made, which I happen to agree with, is that in certain situations, revealing your cards is a nice succint way to collude if you're up against your friends.

is that if you correctly name your own cards?

**********Tony Chessa is OUT**********

He was very short stacked and re raised John Kabbaj all in from the bb with A9. John Kabbaj held T9 and flopped two 10's to send Tony Packing. UL mate

Can you say I've got 2-3, when you haven't?

But if it's on their backs and you do have 2-3, your hand is dead?

Just heard the cardroom manager say "blinds up in 2 minutes"

Next level is 600/1200 with a running ante of 75..

Averaage stack is a fraction over 40,000

and there are 63 players left...

That was always my understanding, if you name your own card(s) and it is proved correct then your hand is dead.
Collusion would be easy if you could tell your pal you had aces when he reraised ya!

i asked them about the chat rule and was told u can say anything about yr hand including specifically naming yr cards you just cant show yr hand - obviously in naming yr hand you are not required to tell the truth.
any chance of a chip count on trevor reardon and marc goodwin ?

Oh and before anyone thinks I am critising Daves game in my above post I am not- just that Simon is a great heads up player when he tries. You don't finish 2nd in the world heads up championship by just being a lucky fish you know Smiley

but u can win a WSOP bracelet just being a lucky fish, i can prove it Cool

You lost that bracelet to me fair and square!

i was tired, i felt u needed the win for your pride Cheesy
