Dave Colcough is looking pretty baffled as to what to do now, he's just had both the chip leaders, Jan Heitmann and Tim Flanders parked on his left. I really do feel sorry for him, these guys are pretty busy! He's still in great shape though with a tad over 50,000

Poor old Ben Vinson is OUT after running into Stephen Pearce again.  Or the other way round... make up your own minds:

Stephen raises to 6,600 from late-mid position.  Small blind Ben moves in and then sits there staring straight ahead silently like he always seems to.  He's left Stephen 16,700 to call.

About five minutes of one-side-only chat later, another player at the table sort of gets tetchy and pushes him to make a decision.  He gets told, "I'm talking to him to try to get information, do you not know that system?"  I could probably have got more information talking to my cat than Silent Ben, who eventually just said, "Clock."

After muttering something that sounded like but couldn't be "Value in there.... 3 to 1" Stephen called with .
Ben showed .

Flop:
Turn:
River:

Ben "......."
Stephen "Oh, baby <slap table> Get in There!!"

Many adjectives spring to mind, and so does buying this young player a drink who's getting "quite an introduction to tournament poker" according to Les Kerrigan.

Hello Ali, yes mate he's still grinding away, he's on about 22,000 at the moment, worrying thing is he has both the chip leaders on his right who are constantly picking at everything, i hope he finds a decent hand soon!

Oh, & I messed up in the Laddies comp - 4th, & $1,050. But no complaints, was great fun.
pays for the hair dye for a week or 2 wp 780 profit not bad i normally play that one everyday 2.30 taffstour is the world champ of it  i think hes very good you know

Yup, I play it every day I'm at home James - which is not that often - ever since Red-Dog cajoled me into playing it 3 weeks ago. It really is one of the best structured comps, live or online, you could wish for. I deposited $500 3 weeks back, & it's around $4k now. Oh that it would last! They also do a nice one at 0200 every night, "Graveyard Special", £40 Freeze, that plays nicely too. Add to that the $200 Freeze on blonde every night at 11, (collected $1k Thursday night) & that's my current wish list. I'd prefer to play the $100 Feeze at 10pm on Blue Square too, but I can't have Blue Square & blonde open at the same time. I can earn a crust playing those 4 comps daily. But I'm a perpetual bridesmaid, my end game is sheer poo.

Taffstour, yes, he's the business. Do I know him James? He seems to run deep in it every day. 6 left today, he got it all-in with JT against Dave Penly's KJ for a monster Pot! Fearless, the pair of them.
sry m8 just caught up, me and my wife are just taking my son bowling,id rather lose £5 to him than £2k online lol ...taffstour is a very good player from swansea he dont play a lot live but a lot online, hes very well respected by a lot of top players ,he plays the welsh comps live ,cruise ,and a few big ones seems a nice guy wd anyway m8 .i fancy dc to hit the jackpot here ive been watching a lot of re run tapes of him over the last 18months and until you see a lot of them together ,well you know the run he have had ,no one else have had such a unlucky run of bad luck hes a class player as you know ,i didnt realise how good he really is ,i hope he gets a bit of luck ,coz i think he only needs to break the ice again, great player world class .not just blowing it for him coz hes welsh but ive seen something really class about him, anyways of out now m8 see u l8r gl DC

Flushy you'll be pleased to know that Nick juust doubled up to 50,000 with 88 v 77 all in pre flop. The board came a bit scary and gave his opponent 4 to the flush but he held up for a 50,000 pot and crippled the guy, who is down to the felt..
