That was a Scottish policewoman? Seem to remember it was quite a big thing.
The mythbusters series managed to spoof a fingerprint activated lock with a made up print

Yes, Scottish.
I couldn't believe they named a phone after it.

I'm sure it was after you had marched past the Cenotaph in London that I said I'd get around to sorting my medals out. I think that was probably 2 years ago. Well I've finally bothered to locate the one I possess and it's motivated me to square away getting the other one I'm entitled to wear issued.(It was awarded but I wasn't presented with it). As you can see.it's looking pretty sad for itself ATM but once i get the other and have them `court mounted it'll be returned to parade standard I'm sure. Click to see full-size image. |
Update- medals have been court mounted and will be collected on Thursday. #nopointinrushing

That's great. I need details though, (and photographs) both about the medals and you when you got them.
If I had a medal I'd wear it all the time, even in bed.

Damn you! I knew I shouldn’t read that, but I did and now I don’t know what to call the stuff I have been accustomed to calling gaffer tape.

I mean though, It's made from duck cloth and used to fix ducting. WTF? And gaffer tape is designed to come off. Who knew? Don't get me started on cello/sello tape.

Gorilla products are incredible. I used some of their adhesive to glue stones and concrete together underwater. My mate was so chuffed he almost went ape shit.

Apparently it was originally produced in the jungle. (a bit like Um-Bongo)
The product was "discovered" by Mark Singer in 1994 being used in Indonesia to make teak furniture.[1] The product was imported to the US and originally sold only to furniture manufacturers.[2] The company began selling Gorilla Glue to consumers in 1999.[3] The company was purchased by Lutz Tool Company which later changed its name to The Gorilla Glue Company.[2]
The company is privately owned by the Ragland family.

Some points for the person who knows the most Um-Bongo lyrics without googling.
I'll start you off.
Way down deep in the middle of the Congo, A hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango......

Also, how does this one end?
Taxi (Honk honk) follow that taxi, it's the bumper bargain biscuit of today. (that line may be wrong)
Taxi, follow that taxi, there's lots more for the fare that you pay.
Taxi, when you feel snaxy, it's got the de de de de de de that appeals.
It's the something something chocolate coated something something crispy biscuit snack bar, on four wheels.
