Oh now come on!! I was trying for something different other than the usual cod.
It was one of those where you have to rip the skin off. I think a lot of the fish may have ended up smeared across the sideboard. Unsure on how to approach the head either.
Admittedly the rest is awful and yes, was not filling at all.

Would be interested to see how a Wetherspoons £7 with a drink roast dinner would be scored. Always think they are cracking value.
Here's a £7.50 one from fat cat in Nottingham. Tasted pretty decent, huge Yorkshire pudding, only minus in real life was it looked like it has just been chucked on a plate, oh and they did put stuffing on the plate with beef lol. But in real life it scored a solid 8/10. Really could not fault it for £7.50 Click to see full-size image. |
Curly fries with your Sunday lunch? You getting keep going up my list of fav Blondes Woodsey! Lol well spotted, they weren't mine but I did nick a few

Roast dinner is too much for your average amateur without a family to feed so am going off piste. Click to see full-size image. |
This actually tasted better than it looked Almost impossible to be otherwise, When I buy fish I usually make sure there is some fish on my fish

This thread is outstanding as ever Tom is running the show.
I will post one soon.
What do people think about the roast being served in a giant (homemade obv) Yorkshire pudding?

This actually tasted better than it looked and fish was a genuine over the counter jobby. Fantastic camera work all things considered. Hope you're feeling better now.
