Basically all the posting is regarding financial performance and I cannot deny that's a vital subject.

But did any Leave voters have dollar bills as their primary concern when they entered the ballot box? We need to vote Brexit because our wealth will increase!!

Rightly or wrongly immigration was a lead issue for many Brexit supporters.

So anyway, back to the subject and desired outcomes. Seems like a success thus far.

Opponents can turn it into a different debate, flag their own concerns, but democracy is achieving what people wanted it to, so not sure how disatrous this all is.

It's Britain's working-class that is getting shaky on Brexit

Good piece on how there are now 3 roads out of the Brexit impasse.

1. UK screws over DUP and accepts east-west border.

2. EU screws over Ireland and drops the backstop.

3. no deal

Great line about Cable being gripped by a craving to lead a centrist party. I do like reading her stuff

So I read Nicola Sturgeon thinks Brexit will be an "utter disaster" and then I turned to another article by Herman Van Rompuy who said Brexit could mean the break up of the UK whilst the EU gets stronger. In fact every which way I turn there is negative commentary, financial crash, no food, medicine shortages and of course travel chaos. All the other EU states aligned against us in talks, UK facing big gamble with risky future, business meltdown, obvious splits in the government. I concluded we find ourselves in a thoroughly miserable negotiating position. Yet we were always going to and all this was entirely predictable. Therefore the decision to hold a referendum on this question appears to be the work of a baboon.

I always thought you were smart, but FFS how has it taken you this long to arrive at this conclusion?
Brad knew right from the start.

Brad would probably have made a better job of negotiating with the EU too.

Priceless first instalment of the pro-Brexit IEA’s ‘Fear-Checkers’ briefings. It turns out that the way to avoid the calamity of grounded aircraft in a no-deal scenario is to... (you guessed it) have a deal
