Leeds sealed Gillingham’s relegation to League 2 at the end of the 2007/08 season and Mr Bates used the occasion to openly criticise Mr Scally (pictured) in his programme notes before the game, after the Gills chairman voted in favour of the South Yorkshire club’s 15-point deduction.

Looking forward to the match tomorrow.

Going into Leeds for drinks at like 3 and 4 with some non poker player Leeds fan mates then on to the game.

Should be good, full house and great atmosphere, win or lose.

Its on Sky Sports 1 too.

The last remaining tickets for the Carling Cup third round clash were sold on Saturday morning and a sell-out crowd of almost 39,000 will turn out for the tie.

"Leeds will be difficult, we know they are a big club and we respect their history," said the Anfield boss.

"I have been watching DVDs of their games and it is clear that their supporters are very important to them.

"They back their team all the time and make it tough for their opponents.

"Those fans are amazing, such loyalty and support, and that has been very apparent to me in watching tapes from last season.

"We know it will be tough. It is a massive club despite the division they are in.

Cheers Rafa.

Can't wait for tonight! It will be interesting to see the team rafa plays. If lucas plays surely we have a chance!!
