just finished watching empire strike back   (again)

in my opinion

Luke  " You killed my father"

Vader   " No Luke  I'm your father"

has to be the best and maybe most shocking line in a movie period

I think i've said this before but for me it's Sean Connery in The Untouchables:-

"typical wap, bring a knife to a gunfight" (or something similar).

Yes yes yes! The greatest twist in cinema history bar none.

Even the cast didn't know about it until the shoot happened. Mark Hamill was quoted as saying to George Lucas "He's lying right?" when he first read it.

I love the line too, David Prowse who was in the Darth vader suit was saying the lines at the actual filming so that Luke could react and he was given the line "Yes Luke, I killed your father" so that the cast wouldn't know.

Anybody who tells you money is the root of all evil doesn't fucking have any. They say money can't make you happy, but look at the grin on my face, ear to ear, baby You Want details? Fine. I drive a Ferrari, 355 Cabriolet, What's up? I have a ridiculous house in the South Fork. I have every toy you could possibly imagine. And best of all kids, I am liquid. You want vacation time, go teach third grade in public school, your parents don't like it? 'Fuck you, mom and dad.' See how they feel when you're making their Lexus payments

Ben Affleck in Boiler Room, nearly all his lines in that are class.
