By the way, Nick Slade is also a blonde, "Quantify" for those not in the know, making 3 for the final.

Apparantly Nick re-raised William Thorson on the final table with 9-2 at one point, commenting (as he stacked his chips), "Sorry to interrupt your party."  Cool

That's 4 final tables in 4 different countries in 12 weeks. Not bad, huh?

See you tomorrow, folks. 3pm start here, but don't forget to turn your clocks back.

It's gonna be one hell of a night with Rob Yong, Nick Slade and Roland de Wolfe all flying the blonde flag in an EPT final.

Who would have thought??

fork a me in stick

I think Nick Slade has been a little concerned of late that I'm giving him a bad right up and making him look like a lucky git. True, he's had a few hands where he's relied on a suck out, but I'd be the first to say that he's a top notch player, you can't win these comps with a bit of luck and I'm sure he's played some good poker to get this far, his results in the UK speak for himself. As Matt Tyler said a couple of days ago, "Nick is one of the worst players to play against because you never know where you stand with him."

What are his UK results?

dont know why ur that interested but  nick has won over a hundred thousand dollars in his first year of playin poker, he has never played a 20 pound rebuy in his life.
in the last 12weeks he has chopped the bellagio cup picking up 50 k he made the final of the 1k ept event at the vic and made the final table of the european masters in vienna 2 weeks ago,  so couple that with this final he must be the form player in the country........... he is a real luckbox. lol

I believe he mainly plays in Blackpool, and whilst he's won around 20k this year on the UK festival circuit, I often spot his name at the top of the local comp lists when the results come in. The £20 rebuys, £100 Freezeouts and so on begin to add up after a while, and he seems to win more than his fair share of them. As does Reyaaz Mulla, who is railing Slade from the er... rail with Ash Hussain and Matt Tyler.

Sorry read that and it looks like a dig! I meant it as a serious question.

Great updates and all for free. Thank you Blonde.

Rob Yong on the final table is great.

With the DTD Boys on the Rail i'm sure he'll cruise to victory.

Best of luck

One of the most exciting Days Updates we've ever had on blonde. And in the Final, 3 blondes, & that includes the Forum darling, Rob Yong. Wonderful!

And well done to Sloppy & Floppy, for keeping us amused & occassionally abused through the long hours. They did good.

Hi Ash, you may remember me i was doing the updates in Monte Carlo.

Like i said i meant no disrespect it was an honest question as i have hardly touched the festivals this year so i haven't seen him about.
