This is why I love The Camel (and not just cos he's QPR like me) - he takes a position on a hand, accepts his opinion is in the minority, but justifies his opinion with supplementary thought processes and sticks by it.

There's more than one way to skin a cat in this game...

Sorry Kieth, very badly worded, didnt mean "flamed"....struggling for word with same meaning but far less intensity. Very best of luck Kieth, iv been reading your blog for a long time (albeit with your sporadic posts Wink ).

I think I am in the minority with the Camel here I think I would probably have folded as well.  I don't really like my set when I am re-raised, I suppose much of my opinion would depend on how foxy had been playing.  But if this was say my first hand at that table and had no prior info on my oppo I think I fold and wait for a better spot to get all my chips in especially in a comp of this size.

To be honest I don't know if I could have laid it down. I am with the Camel on this one in that laying it down probably is the best tournament play but I don't know if I could have. If you play a set like the way he did (which is absolutely the right way to do it of course) but then someone insta calls you preflop and reraises you on the flop for all your chips on a very draw heavy board (when he could of course also have trip kings and the made straight)) if you have enough chips back to have a a shot at taking the tourney it might be the right play to make to lay it down..but laying down a set is always tricky.

Having played w/ the Fox a few times I would find it hard to lay down this hand

It would have been a great laydown but maybe that is what is needed sometimes ( I am learning this these days)

Good luck Camel, JUST WIN BABY, JUST WIN
