Talking of DTD players, I just witnessed an interesting pot between Conor O'Keefe and Odd Lavik. The board read and I joined the action with Conor, and the rest of the table for that matter (including Marcus Jessen who asked for the clock), deciding whether to call Odd's 6k River bet.

However, although he was taking an age to make up his mind, he suddenly shocked everyone by popping in an extra 10k re-raise. "I certainly didn't expect that," commented Jessen, "I was sure he was folding".

Anyhow, the Dusk Till Dawn player folded pretty swiftly and proudly revealed the .

"Have you not been playing long?" asked O'Keefe.

If O'Keefe did have the straight flush, is it bad practice to take that long before re-raising?
Do we know if O'Keefe had the  ??

His comment seems to suggest he didn't!

PS., Great reporting so far bloggers, any chance you can pass on a goodluck message to Paul Gourlay and give us an update on him. Thanks - The good wishes come from the chaps from 'the ship'

PPS., If you spot Thomas Brolin can you give him an evil stare, love a Leeds United fan LOL (Only kidding)

CHEEKY EDIT: I'm sure Paul will do a pose for camera if asked

I hung around for a while, and although the other players probed him, he didn't reveal his hand.

I will pass on your message to Paul.

I'm surprised he doesn't use the term 'ship it' more often.

Richard Wild is now up to 68k.

He raised from the cut-off with J-8o (as you do) and the button and the big blind both called.

Everyone checked the A-J-5, Richard bet the 8 Turn and the button called.

River came an Ace, and although the button made a 4k bet, Richard still called, only to find that his Jack was indeed good against the button's Q-T.

Any idea what happened to Devilfish? 35k is a respectable stack! Who'd have thunk it...

Just doubled check this one, my apologies, the guy on 44.5k is the white arm in the photo below. He fooled me by shuffling over into the vacant spot.

Soz.

Do you know what happened to Dalhuijsen? He first lost a pot to Teltscher, leaving him with around 120k in chips. Pokernews.com chipcounts list him as having 11k chips. Que Pasa?!

wot are the blinds at pretty please?

We're on a 15 minute break now, after which blinds with be 600/1200 with a 100 ante.

Ok, I found Jonathan McCann, he has 35k at the moment.

This picture, I think, is Paul Murrell, please tell me if that's right, since his original table has been broken. He has about 20k

Nick Slade told a sick story about the boy Lodden, Johnny raised a guy's 5k bet on a A-T-9 flop to 16k, before flat calling his 16k on the 2 turn (presumably to bluff the river, (there was a flush draw on the flop). The river came of course, a 4... and he was paid off to the sum of 26k.
