Leicester just signed Liverpool's fourth choice keeper for £12.5mil, presumably to back up Kasparov. That is bonkers.
Casper must be on his way somewhere surely? Chelski maybe ?

That would be my thinking. When this was a possible deal at start of the week, my thoughts were if Allison goes to Liverpool, Casper obvious choice for Chelsea

Danny Ward is ready for the EPL wouldnt not surprise me in the slightest if Kasper is sold and Ward is a No 1
Ward needs to be playing this season not sitting on a bench as a No 2 or No 3

So most likely Courtois -> Real Madrid, Schmeichel-> Chelsea, Ward -> Leicester No.1?
Rumours Chelsea are eyeing up Hart, Pickford, and Butland also.

Only thing Leicester might be concerned about is that Danny Ward started 80+ matches between 2015-17, but only 4 last season as third choice - might be risky to throw him straight in.

They might even sign another keeper, but if Schmeichel leaves, you'd think Jakupovic would be given a chance. Perhaps ending the rumours that he was keen to move on as well.

Have only half-watched the televised fixtures so far, semi-interested, but today, Liverpool at home to West Ham is on my must watch list.
The hype & talking has to stop, now is the time to see if it is all going to gel.
If Liverpool can score 3 or 4 I'll be chuffed to bits.

Pre season has been good , the players look to be happy and in good spirits, can't wait.
Think Shaqiri could have a big part to play this season , has been very impressive pre season.
Excited to see how Keita settles in.
Let's go.

4-0 then - most enjoyable. Hard to know if they beat much, but they did it in style.
Really enjoyed the debut of Keita, he is going to be a fun watch.
Not so sure about Jurgen Klopp's new celebration though. Did he really do that? Oh my.

That looked completely accidental to me, but it could have been real nasty, & the lad was taken to hospital. His eyeball had an abrasion, but nothing serious & he'll be fine. Must have made his eyes water.
And here's the problem with footballers constantly feigning injury, banging the floor "look at me, I'm hurt" (no you are not, you'd not be banging the floor if you were). So when a footballer genuinely is injured, they don't always get the prompt attention they need.
Football & footballers have themselves to blame.

Fun night in prospect at Anfield tonight, as Liverpool - a perfect 5 from 5 in the EPL - face PSG who have the same 5 from 5 in Ligue 1.
Pleasingly, we get to see two interesting PSG characters, which could be fun. Am definitely keen to watch this Mbappe kid.
Can Liverpool keep them quiet & bash in a hatful?
