Be nice if Everton manage it by snatching points from City, too. Just to ease the pressure on us!

Anyone else's facebook littered with people who have never even mentioned football suddenly declaring that they are ardent Liverpool fans? I should be happy that we are being so well supported but it feels like someone who you never spoke to at school turning up to your birthday party, not buying you a present and eating a massive slice of cake!

I have supported Liverpool all my life, I had just turned 6 when we last won the league but unfortunately I can't remember it at all. Best memories by far have been 2001 and 2005. Yeah we won the league cup in 2012, I celebrated it on the day but it didn't fill me with the year round warmth and enjoyment that 2001 and 2005 did.

Whatever happens, LFC fo life baby.

Abbarently I had a broplem with my Bs and Ps.. All petter now though.

That and the green and white have been my nut favourite kits. Any more old pics or stories to share?

Let's dooooooooooooooo this.

I used to ask the hairdresser for the "Michael Owen" cut when I was 9/10 Cheesy

Pretty sure I'm not alone there though... ahem Cos...

I'm 40, and was 6 when i became truly aware of football and my love of Liverpool began.

My first ever game. Away to Notts Forest, we drove to the game with my Dad (big chelsea fan, as is my younger brother) and a family friend. My over-riding memory though was in the car doing 100mph, as i amazed and excited!! Lol.

We lost 1-0. Must have been 82/83 or 83/84. Around then.

First game at Anfield was home to Watford, with my Dad again. Losing 1-0 at i was 10. Crying because we were losing, he reassuring me we'd be OK. He was right, we won 3-1!

Best memories thus far -

'84 euro cup
'86 at the bridge winning the league.
'89 cup final
Going Away to valenica
Going Away to Bergen
2000 danny murphy free kick vs mancs away
'01 uefa cup final
'05 semi and final
'06 cup final
Beating mancs in that game with Dossena
The last 2 months.... May they continue for 270 more minutes

First big memory for me was the 1986 cup final, watched it around my mates, absolute cracker of a game.

Also remember buying a kit in January with my xmas money and my Mum insisting I just wear the kit i.e. no jacket or trackies, on the green outside.

Molby actually looks in better nick than when he was playing.. would love to see a sprint; Molby v Barnes, both move like sloths in quicksand, still loving it.

Watched yesterday back. Allen is very, very good. Definitely a keeper.

With Gerrard owning Lucas' role you wonder about him this summer...

lucas is class on FM14 - i think Rogers would be wise to give him more first team opportunities.
