My mate was at a black tie dinner at Anfield last night. Literally never been so jealous of anyone. He posted pics on Facebook with so many legends including Rogers, Rush and Mcateer. Made me. laugh as everyone is in a Tux apart from Brendan who is rocking an LFC training tracks, what a boss.

Any way. Match day baby. Let's doooo this, so many things in our favour. 3-2 Liverpool.... again is my prediction.

As a neutral I'll be gutted if Liverpool lose today, they've made this season one of the most entertaining in recent memory (David Moyes played his part too) - not sure I could stand Chelsea or Man City nicking it at the final moment.

gl liverpool fans.  Even though it will cost me a fortune if liverpool win the league having to win 11 on the bounce to get to this spot shows what a great bet it was opposing liverpool when i did just unfortunate they have gone on the heater of all heaters.

Of all the players on show today to make a mistake like that Gerrard would have been last on my list.

Mourinho has played a blinder here thus far, its a masterclass in his style of play.

C'mon Liverpool!

Liverpool could do with a bit of height up top, I know its not been a problem this season but just watching this game there isn't really a plan b if the fine intricate stuff doesn't come off.

I would picture Diego Costa in that team alongside Suarez and Sturridge next year.

Sigh, wasn't a good game at all. Had that sense of inevitability about it.

Now have to rely on Palace to take something from the game against Citeh.  Could even come down to what Everton can do on the last day of the season.

Real lack of penetration today, no attempts at threading balls behind to run onto.Reduced to firing from distance too often.

The fat lady isn't singing yet but she is certainly clearing her throat.

Just have to hope Man City slip up , whatever happens its been a hell of a ride and a fantastic season.

you'd react if things like this were posted on your team's thread

we try very hard not to do rubbish on here, and the football team threads are all the better for it

In the last two games I've come to appreciate just how vital Jordan Henderson is.

Typical Mourinho spoiler. As much as I don't like his style of football you have to take your hat off. He is the master of winning by any means.

Been a great season, loved every minute, let's hope one of the other sides does us a favour, although I cannot see it.

Fantastic to be in the mix for once and getting to laugh at Man Utd along the way. May it continue for many years! Smiley
