5th again. Same as their prediction last season. Very difficult to call imo, in fact I might start a thread asking for people to predict the top 6, in order, and see who gets it right come the end of the season.

Not sure if Falcao is the right sort of forward for Liverpool and the system Rodgers wants to play. Isn't he very much a fox in the box sort of forward, rather than one who gets heavily involved in the build up and link-up play with the other attacking players?
No question he's a very good striker though.
Yes he is his out the box work is ok certainly better than it was.
Not that it would ever have been an option but if it was he would have signed him anyway he is a goalscorer

No question he can score goals, and that is the primary job of a striker.
Can't see Liverpool meeting his wage demands though, so probably just paper talk.

Wouldn't Cavani be a better fit for Liverpool? Got a similar work ethic to Suarez as well.
(Again, not likely at all to come to Liverpool, just thinking out loud really)

Maybe very streaky player though not in same class as Suarez or Falcao though

Thought he'd just signed an extension?

Doesn't seem to bother some footballers. They get paid regardless.

Haven't Man Utd just bid £55m for him. I just don't see him being worth that, but only going from the games I've seen him play.

Liverpool v Dortmund in the last friendly before the season. Should be more competitive and the Liverpool lineup certainly suggests that:
Liverpool XI in full: Mignolet, Manquillo, Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Gerrard, Can, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge.
Liverpool substitutes: Jones, Kelly, Toure, Sakho, Coates, Enrique, Lucas, Allen, Suso, Ibe, Lambert.

Dortmund missing a few players through injury - and they'll have an eye on next week's Super Cup game.
